Dave Neiman |
|
Dave Neiman was
raised in a rural setting in North Central Iowa. He attended
Iowa State University, studying both Civil Engineering and
Fisheries & Wildlife Biology. Dave has a background in highway
design, computer systems & programming, general
construction industry, land use planning, and local government
operations. He operated a small, private environmental
consulting business which provided land use planning and lake
management services to Minnesota's lake areas.
Currently, Dave serves as Minnesota Rural Water Association's
Source Water Protection Specialist, a position that provides
technical assistance and facilitation support for both ground
and surface source waters supplying public drinking water
systems.
Dave lives with
his family in the Gull Lake area near Nisswa, MN. He is an avid
outdoorsman, a creative chef, and continues to pursue a
life-long interest in sailing. |

Mark
Wettlaufer |
|
Mark Wettlaufer
was raised on a family farm in southern Minnesota. He completed
undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota in
agriculture and political science and obtained a M.A. from
Mankato State University focusing on local government
administration and environmental issues. Mark has 10 years
experience working for local government focusing on land and
water resource planning. Mark also continues to be involved in
the family farm operation.
Presently, Mark
holds the Minnesota Rural Water Association's National funded
Source Water Specialist Position. This position provides
technical assistance and support to communities in the
development of Source Water or Wellhead Protection Plans
throughout Minnesota.
Mark lives with
his wife in central Minnesota. His hobbies includes fishing and
waterfowl hunting. |

Robyn Hoerr
|
|
Robyn Hoerr grew up in rural Minnesota near the Brainerd Lakes
Area. After graduating from Minnesota State University with a B.S. degree
in Microbiology and a minor in chemistry, she worked for a number of years
in the animal health business, and then for a Public Health Department as a
Registered Environmental Health Sanitarian where she developed a strong
interest and broad knowledge base relating to environmental issues.
At
the present time, Robyn is a state funded Source Water Protection Specialist
for Minnesota Rural Water Association. In this position she is able to
provide wellhead protection planning assistance to many classifications of
public water suppliers in the state of Minnesota.
Robyn lives
in Elk River, MN with her husband and three children. Besides spending time
with her family, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing,
biking, and walking as well as indoor activities such as reading. |

Aaron Meyer |
Aaron Meyer was raised in the
lakes country of central Minnesota. He received an
undergraduate degree in Biology from Concordia College,
Moorhead, MN and a M.S. degree from North Dakota State
University in Natural Resource Management. While pursuing
his M.S. degree, Aaron’s primary research focused on
wetlands and hydrologic modeling issues. Aaron also has five
plus years of local government experience in land use and
water resource planning.
Presently, Aaron holds the
Minnesota Rural Water Association’s National funded
Groundwater Specialist Position. The duties of the
Groundwater Specialist include providing technical
assistance and support to communities in the development and
implementation of Wellhead Protection Plans throughout
Minnesota.
Aaron currently lives in
central Minnesota in Waite Park (St. Cloud), MN. He is an
avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and other
various outdoor sporting activities.
