The course content is designed to train entry level operators for both water and wastewater treatment facilities. This also includes distribution and collection system training.ย The program of instruction consists of a balance between technical, mechanical and laboratory training. Graduates are certified by the State of Minnesota as Class D operators. An educational background in sciences, mathematics and mechanics is helpful. A satellite course is also offered in Eden Prairie, MN.ย The program also includes continuing education courses in water treatment for operators currently employed in the field. This program includes a certificate and is credit based. For further information on the course or to inquire about graduates for possible employment, contact an instructor or visit our website.
